Mental Health affects how we think, feel, and act. It determines how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. In addition to the impact that mental health has on your day-to-day life, serious mental health issues can affect your relationships, career, education and long-term goals.
We know some of you might need additional support to ensure you thrive at YMCA Milton Keynes. Whether you need some help with anxiety or low-mood or more specialist support with past trauma, our new service, Mental Wealth, will ensure you get the support and help you need, when you need it.

“I came to the YMCA with a mental health diagnosis, but Jenni normalised it for me and helped me to understand it. She made me realise it was something I could live with.
Now my mental health and home life is settled, I can focus on my future. I’ve always wanted my own pet and to be able to decorate my home, paint and buy the furniture I like. I’m really happy.”
