YMCA England and Wales is the largest and oldest youth charity in the
world!
From their beginnings in England in 1844, they’ve grown into a global movement,
helping over 58 million people across 119 countries. Across England & Wales there
are 83 YMCAs. While YMCAs work and respond locally, YMCA England and Wales acts as the national
council, supporting each YMCA and acting as a national voice with Government and
decision makers.
