Community Fundraiser

Salary: Circa £25,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience

Contract: Full-time and permanent

Location: Milton Keynes

Come and join our passionate and dynamic fundraising team!

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to build relationships and gain support from community groups and individual supporters through a range of community, challenge and individual giving activities. Along with developing an engagement programme for our young people in this area of work to help the Milton Keynes community understand the impact of their support.

A background in community fundraising would be beneficial, along with an understanding of successfully meeting budgetary targets.

Enterprise Manager

Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience

Contract: Full-time and permanent

Location: Milton Keynes

YMCA Milton Keynes is embarking on an exciting phase in its development with the opening of a new campus in Autumn 2019.

As part of this we are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our expanding team to manage the development of our new social enterprises (café and training and conference facilities), along with our leasing arrangements (retail units and a nursery).

This is a new post at YMCA MK and provides an opportunity for the right person to really shape and develop the impact it will have on the organisation. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and who can demonstrate that they have successfully set up new ventures.

Any knowledge and experience of working in a social enterprise is beneficial but not necessary, it’s the can-do approach and delivery of operational plans to generate income and engage our young people that are key to this role. The long-term future of this role depends on the successful attainment of set budgetary targets.

Trusts Officer

Salary: Circa £23,000 per annum, depending on experience

Contract: 21 hours per week and permanent

Location: Milton Keynes

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to build relationships and gain support from trusts and foundations, through writing compelling and strong approaches that encapsulate the impact of our work.

Working under the Grants & Trusts Manager, this role will be responsible for researching, identifying and developing approaches to funders. Along with ensuring that all activity is tracked and managed through our organisational database.

There is real opportunity to grow and shape this area of fundraising at YMCA Milton Keynes, and this role will suit someone who’s keen to strengthen their writing skills, get stuck in and exercise their creativity. We are a growing team at a point of seismic change in our history.

A background in trust fundraising would be beneficial, but is not essential. An ability to be able to convey our work and impact in an engaging and compelling way is essential.
