Whether you are working towards academic qualifications, a first job or apprenticeship, or need help with CV writing and interview skills, our Employment Coaches are on hand to provide the support you need. We want to help you find sustainable employment in a job that interests and motivates you.
Are you looking for a new career? Do you want new qualifications? Does university appeal to you? Or are you unsure where to start looking for a job?
You are in safe hands. Our Employment Coaches at YMCA MK can support you in a number of ways depending on what you want to do.
- Individual sessions to identify training or educational needs or volunteering and employment opportunities and chat about how you can achieve your career goals.
- Build your confidence and self-esteem through employment sessions such as ‘Becoming Job Ready’, ‘Career Development’ and ‘Employment Skills’ to help with job applications and work on you CV and interview technique.
- Offer you ongoing support once you have a job to offer any advice and support you need.
Employment Coaches also arrange for employers to come to campus and keep up-to-date with new opportunities that might interest you. We have partnerships with local organisations such as The Princes’ Trust and MK College to support you with your goals.
