YMCA Milton Keynes has been announced as Milton Keynes Chamber of Commerce’s Charity of the Year 2019/20.
YMCA MK is an independent charity and an approved social housing provider, providing accommodation and support services to young, homeless people.
They help young people in Milton Keynes to belong, contribute and thrive by getting their lives back on track and encouraging them to play a fulfilling role within the local community.
Simon Green, CEO for Milton Keynes YMCA said “We’ve been a member of the Milton Keynes Chamber for a couple of years now, and our team is thrilled to have been selected as Charity of the Year. Our affiliation with the Chamber is extremely valuable and we recognise that it will help raise our profile amongst local Chamber members and the wider Milton Keynes community.
“We’re looking forward to working closely with the Chamber team over the next 12 months and raising awareness of the great work YMCA provides to the young people of Milton Keynes.”
As Charity of the Year, YMCA Milton Keynes will be given complimentary membership to the Chamber’s Business Alliance Group, enabling it to enhance its local profile.
