Aiimi Alpine Challenge 2026

Aiimi Alpine Challenge 2026

When the amazing data and AI company Aiimi relocated from London to Milton Keynes, the team expected new opportunities and new commutes. What they didn’t expect was the discovery that their new home in Milton Keynes faced deprivation that too often went unseen.

It was during an early meeting with Simon Green, CEO of YMCA MK, that everything changed. Hearing the story of the YMCA and it’s unwavering support for young people, vibrant community, and its commitment to being a place of safety and opportunity excited the team. They walked away inspired and determined to play a part in that story.

Over the years, Aiimi has become one of YMCA MK’s greatest champions. They’ve opened doors for young people through work‑experience programmes, boosted digital literacy in our youth clubs, and raised essential funds to help continue the YMCA’s life changing work. Their belief in helping young people in Milton Keynes belong, contribute, and thrive has never wavered.

But this year, they decided to take their commitment to new heights – quite literally.

In 2026, Aiimi is taking on the Alpine Challenge. Over three consecutive days, the team will climb three mountains spanning France, Switzerland, and Italy. These summits rise to more than twice the height of Ben Nevis, demanding over 9,000 metres of ascent. Their journey will push them through fierce weather, steep terrains, and snow‑covered crossings, all undertaken to help create meaningful change.

The challenge mirrors the metaphorical mountains the young people at YMCA MK climb every day, requiring resilience, courage, and determination to transform their lives. And so, in May 2026, the Aiimi Executive and Leadership Team will take each step with purpose, turning their effort and endurance into opportunities for others.

One mountain at a time. One life changed at a time.
